Criminal Mischief

There are four degrees of Criminal Mischief. The degree is determined by elements such as the manner in which the damage is caused, the amount of damage that is caused, and whether an explosive is used.

  • Intentionally damaging someone's property,
  • Intentionally participating in the destruction of an abandoned building, or
  • Recklessly causing more than $250 of damage to someone's property.

Intentionally causing more than $250 of damage to someone's property.

Intentionally causing more than $1,500 of damage to someone's property.

Intentionally damaging someone's property with an explosive.
